Daniel had an
excellent spirit
that sustained him when his faith was tried and tested
by facing hungry lions.

Daniel chapter 3 records the story of the three young men that are thrown in fire because they refused to worship the image of gold that Nebuchadnezzar made. King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, sixty cubits high and six cubits wide, and set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon. Daniel 3:1
There is a promise made by Messiah Himself recorded in Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Here is a spiritual law in connection with the laws of opposition. We are at war and there has been no real peace on the earth since Jesus time.
When nations declare war, everything changes. Preset protocols are initiated and security systems are enforced and all military and defenses are put on high alert. Life without war is impossible in both the natural and spiritual realms until Messiah establishes His rule and reign of Shalom/Peace in the Millennial Kingdom which is here in part and yet still to be fulfilled by His return/second coming.
Daniel was a man living by faith in a hostile world. The same could be said of believers in Messiah today.

When John saw Messiah open the seals was it a future event??
In Revelation 6–7 Jesus Christ opens the book with seven seals. As each seal is opened, John sees a representation of an event or events in the earth’s history. Chapter 6 records the opening of the first six seals.
The seven seals are one of a series of end-times judgments from God. The seals are described in Revelation 6:1–17 and 8:1–5.

Jesus/Yeshua said in Matthew 10:34:
I have not come to bring peace
I have come to bring judgment.
In
have trouble. But take heart! … I have overcome the world.”
In this world we will have tribulation.
Note in the verse He is telling us so that IN HIM we will have peace/shalom not in the world. The peace we will know is inside us in our spirit, a deep inner knowing that when our lives are lived IN HIM we are safe and secure. The world cannot and will not provide the peace we need.
The end times began when Messiah Jesus came. There has been no peace since then, wars and rumors of wars, pestilences and famine have been all been ongoing and will continue until He returns.
Rev 5:1 only Messiah is worthy to open the seals.
One of the Elders comforts John with the great news that there is someone worthy to break the seals and read the book. The Lamb of God is equal to the task.
Here we read of a new song in Rev. 5:9 And they are singing a new song, saying “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and You bought for God with Your blood some from every tribe and nation.

Only Messiah is worthy and able to open the seals because of His newly resurrected status.
We are in a battle and connected to both realms/kingdoms. We are supernatural eternal spirits in natural physical bodies which will decay, it is not a supernatural body, not yet. It is a fact that there is a continuing struggle in the physical, mental, moral and spiritual areas of life. Spiritual Health is the balance between the physical parts of our bodies and all the things and forces surrounding us. To maintain good health we must have sufficient internal strength to fight off the things that are external.
Everything outside our physical life is designed to cause our death, including other humans. If we have enough inner strength to fight, we help to produce the balance needed for health. The same is true for the mental life we have to fight. This struggle produces the mental balance we identify as thought. We are to take captive all thoughts…2 Cor. 10:5
Morally it’s the same, because anything that does not strengthen our morals is the enemy of virtue within us. …If there be any virtue…Phil. 4:8….Whether we overcome and produce virtue depends on the level of moral excellence in our lives….
However we must fight to reach that standard, because morality does not occur by accident or chance, or by itself, it is acquired. This also means that anything which is not spiritual can lead to a downfall.
Again…Jesus/Yeshua said,
in the world you will have tribulation… John 16:33
However He also said, be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
We must learn to fight against and overcome the things that come against us and in that way produce the balance of holiness in our lives; if we do, then it will create in us a positive attitude when we meet opposition.
Without holiness no man can see God. Heb. 12:14
In context: Hebrews 12:13-15
New American Bible
Make straight paths for your feet, that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed. Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one be deprived of the grace of God, that no bitter root spring up and cause trouble, through which many may become defiled.
Here we see the danger of roots of bitterness that can grow when peace holiness and grace are lacking…
Everything Adonai says is out of His Holiness.
Psalms 89:36; Amos 4:2;Ps. 60: 8.
God in His Holiness spoke and like the psalmist, we can take joy in His promise and the Nehemiah 8:10 joy of the Lord is our strength.
Holiness is the balance between my/our nature and the law/directions for living/teaching of God/Torah, as expressed in and through Messiah Yeshua/Jesus.
Excellent Spirit –
YATARA’ RUCHA רוח יתירא
in Aramaic
Resh vav cheth yod taw yod resh aleph

Daniel was a godly man forced to serve a pagan Persian king whose belief system was Zoroastrianism, which is one of the oldest monotheistic religions dating back to ancient Iran 3,500 years ago. It’s similar in some ways to the Hebrew faith and yet still very different. The Zoroastrianism god is known as Ahura-Mazda (as in the make of the car). This god is considered the supreme deity and the name means Wise Lord. The belief is that this Ahura -Mazda is almighty but not omnipotent; the emphasis on duty to protect nature puts it in the pantheistic fold of religions.
Although not by any Hebrew standard Godly, Darius was a spiritual man and he saw an excellent spirit in Daniel.

Chapters 2 through 7 in Daniel are written in Aramaic and the remaining portions are in Hebrew. The Dead Sea Scrolls have revealed five copies of the Book of Daniel and all are in perfect harmony.
In Aramaic the word excellent is yatara
which is slightly different than the word in Hebrew:
yetar and infers more of the idea of: an abundance;
whereas the Aramaic word
yatara carries the idea of pre-eminence.
This suggests a
yatar rucha or excellent spirit
is one where:
the Spirit of God’s desires, is pre-eminent over a persons flesh/carnal life and desires.

King Darius was very perceptive and he noticed something different in Daniel compared to all the other wise men because Daniel seemed to be more focused on his relationship with God than the other wise men did. The other wise men were continually seeking the king’s favor, yet Daniel was seeking only the favor of his God. Darius recognized Daniel was a man whose spirit was pre-eminent over his flesh.
Daniel would speak of new and wiser things from his God, innovations that would bring about a transformation whereas all the other wise men were repeating the same old things.
Did Darius see a man who was not focused on making an impression but one who would speak the truth of God?

Maybe he could sense Daniels rucha or his spirit/mind?
Whatever the reason, the king recognized that there was something different about Daniel that was pure and holy; and this was no doubt due to the fact that Daniel had a pure heart and pure motives.
Daniel, was a man who had every reason to hate his employer, who was also his king and was now trying to replace his God too. Daniel had to divide and separate within the context of the existing relationships and by establishing boundaries for that which was the preeminent focus of His life and calling. His excellent spirit was the deciding factor and resulted in his elevation before both God and man. Our Heavenly Fathers’ patterns are threaded throughout His Word. When we recognize them we will understand how He is leading us and dealing with us for His Glory.
Daniel 6:3: “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes because an excellent spirit was in him and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”
It may be true to say that if a person who loves Jesus with all their heart and has an excellent spirit, a yatar rucha, other people will notice but the individual will probably not even be aware of it.
In 607BC, when the people of Judah were taken captive to Babylon their identity was to be totally changed by being brainwashed and if necessary, beaten into total submission.
All their hopes were now forced to focus around the ruler Nebuchadnezzar who was also now to be their god: and any dreams of a future family life taken away.
Some 70 years later Belshazzar, while drunk sees the writing on the wall and being terrified, was advised to call for this now elderly seer who may by the Spirit of God, be able to interpret this phenomena.
On meeting Daniel he asks, “Art thou Daniel, which art of the captivity of Judah …”
This once young prince of Judah was now a very old resident of Babylon, yet there was no change at all to the man of faith inside because his character and the qualities that endeared him to his captors; those that made him stand out, had been formed when he was very young, not in Babylon but in the court of Josiah.
Daniel was a handsome young man; and had the bearing of a person of noble birth, as one from a royal line, dignified but not arrogant; being well educated, and both knowledgeable and wise. Because he could manage himself, he could also manage others, his discerning ways were superior to those of his peers.
Furthermore he was full of courage and faith in His God, which supported this bravery. Equally notable was that he was unwavering and from youth to old age, his outlook and conduct as a man of faith never really changed and due to this steadfast loyalty to his God, his enemies could not take advantage of him.
He must have retained humility to the degree that great rulers promoted him to positions of great power and never felt threatened. They could make use of his insight without being afraid his ego would challenge their leadership.

The one attribute that set Daniel apart which was repeated 3 or 4 times was an excellent spirit, and seems to be the key to really knowing him.
What does an excellent spirit mean?
Basically, that wherever he went and the way he conducted himself and his attitude to life, made an lasting impression on people.
Because he had an excellent spirit in him, he showed respect and dignity to others; He was able to solicit a tender affection from men who were brutal and hardened in cruelty by the careful way that he answered people. He could turn away the wrath of kings and change the attitude of courtiers.
Something noble shone forth from him and they saw in him a disposition that was warm and appealing, by maintaining that throughout his whole life: it never left him and neither did the favor of those around him.
This favor was said of both Samuel, and Messiah, that they grew in favor with God and men. And Daniel had the same spirit, because he pleased God and men doing the right thing and in the right way.

It is noteworthy that Daniel and Ezekiel were of similar age and both spent their childhood and early teenage years in Jerusalem. They carried Jeremiah’s mantle together into the Babylonian captivity even though they lived around 50 miles or 80 kms apart.
In a nutshell, Daniel’s life began around 626BC born of royal stock. His relationship to King Josiah although close is not certain. Following the rediscovery of the book of the Law, the palace walls echoed with the words and prophecies of Jeremiah so His childhood was lived in an era of spiritual regeneration/revival.
Josiah was killed in battle when Daniel was around 15 years old, and 3 years later the conquering king of Babylon arrived in Jerusalem and Nebuchadnezzar forced the Jewish academics and intellectuals to relocate to Babylon. These included Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah who were all very gifted young princes. They were selected to serve as royal court officials. They were made eunuchs which was a very cruel act to the self worth of any man and especially to ones so young. It meant that even though they were of a royal blood line they now had no possibility of royal offspring.
The city that Daniel found himself was the one that had come to dominate the world.
Daniel, was already an accomplished scholar, further achieved remarkable proficiency in many disciplines, along with his three colleagues. We may be more familiar with them as Shadrach Meshach and Abednego who was already an accomplished scholar,
A royal decree was issued to slay all the wise men of the kingdom for their failure to help Nebuchadnezzar recall a mysterious dream he had seen. Daniel heroically averted this when with less than 24 hours to live, the 4 of them pleaded before the Lord to interpret the dream. Their request was granted and Daniel was able to remind the king of his dream, and also gave him a remarkable vision of the future.
King Nebuchadnezzar was so impressed that he promoted Daniel to the governors position over the whole province of Babylon and also to be prime minister over all the wise men of Babylon, whose lives were also spared.
Daniel served the One True God and he prayed and worshiped God faithfully every day. There is something about a person when their light is shining that causes them to be noticed.

The wisdom and favor with the king given to him by God caused jealousy in the hearts of the 120 Princes, who tried to find fault with Daniel however the only thing they could find was to pick on was his religion. He was faithful to his God and to the king and all he did was blessed so the Princes planned to trick the King. They suggested that the King make a decree that for 30 days that no one be allowed to ask anything of anyone else except of the King and the penalty for breaking this decree was the offenders were to be cast into the lions den.
Here we have a spiritual principle, which shows that Daniel was not rebellious, but he was faithful to his God. There are times when we must obey God over human civil rulings when it violates what the Scriptures decree.
We should obey God rather than man…
Acts 5:29

The scheming Princes found Daniel praying as he always did and told the King who, realizing he had been deceived, tried to find a way out, but he couldn’t as the men reminded him that his own decree was irreversible. Finally the King summoned Daniel and told him, I believe your God is able to save you, and I hate to do this, but I must cast you into the lions den.
The King fasted and prayed all night, until morning and with a sorrowful voice he called out, “Daniel, was your God whom you serve, able to deliver you?”
Daniel replied, from the lion pit,“Oh King, my God sent an angel to shut the lions mouth and I am safe.”

The King was relieved and angry at the same time; relieved that Daniel was alive but angry at the Princes. He ordered them and their wives to be cast into the lions den; their bodies did not reach to the den’s floor before the lions killed them.
The third chapter of Daniel tells another account of King Nebuchadnezzar who made an image of gold to be worshipped and any failure to do so would result in being cast into the fiery furnace. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, refused to bow down to the statue and some of the Chaldeans reported their rebellion.
The King was angry but gave them a second chance to worship the image.
They stated, Be it know to you oh King, our God is able to deliver us, but if NOT, we will not serve your gods.

Infuriated by their non compliance, he commanded that they be bound and cast into the burning furnace, however as the people watched, they clearly saw not only the three men but also a fourth figure walking around in the fire.
The king became fearful and called them to come out, he realized that their God had sent an angel to protect and deliver them. When they emerged from the furnace, they were not harmed, their hair wasn’t singed, nor did they even smell of smoke. Because of this miracle, the King promoted them with honor making a new decree with penalties, that no one was to speak against the Hebrew children’s One True God.
We may all have had people we thought were our friends, and then they planned evil against us, perhaps they snared us into a pit, betraying our trust and bringing great sadness to our lives….but God’s plan is to bring us new life in Messiah Jesus. He can restore what has been lost or stolen from us in every area and relationship and with our loving Heavenly Father the new is always better. He has a good plan for each of us and will bless those who are faithful to keep His commands and serve Him, charging His angels to protect and watch over us. It is up to us to keep our relationship with our Father in Heaven consistent and to be like Daniel, who was faithful to pray and worship Him every day. Reading His Word and building ourselves up in our faith and courage by feeding daily on fresh manna, getting to know Him and the reason we are here and what He wants us to do.
Continue to be faithful family and know that the choices we make to love and serve Him with our whole heart, mind and strength really do matter. We know not one of us is perfect, only He alone is perfect, yet He is continually working on us, with us and through us, to become mature/perfection in His eyes, by our willing obedience and fulfilling the task He has placed before us; and like Daniel staying humble, that excellent spirit may come to indwell us too!
Daniel purposed in his heart …we can too!

Understand that Messiah is returning soon for those who have repented of their sins, been washed in His Blood and fully received Him into their life. All we have to do is Ask, Seek, Knock and the door of salvation shall be opened unto you. Luke 11:9.
Shalom shalom mishpachah/family
and cheverim/friends!
You are loved, appreciated and prayed for..
It’s all about Life and Relationship,
NOT Religion.
You are precious in His sight.
NOT SURE?
YOU CAN BE..
SAY THE FOLLOWING FROM YOUR HEART RIGHT NOW…
Heavenly Father I come to you in the Name of Jesus/Yeshua asking for forgiveness of my sins for which I am truly sorry. I repent of them all and turn away from my past.
I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus/Yeshua is your Son and that He died on the cross at calvary to pay the price for my sin, so that I might be forgiven and have eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven. Father I believe that Jesus/Yeshua rose from the dead and I ask you to come into my life right now and be my personal Savior and Lord and I will worship you all the days of my life. Because your word is truth I say that I am now forgiven and born again and by faith I am washed clean with the blood of Jesus/Yeshua. Thank you that you have accepted me into your family in Jesus’/Yeshua’s name. Amen

We left the last post at the point where
we could see by the scripture
that through the angel,
YeHoVeH had prophetically called Gideon
mighty man
and then like a garment
He put on Gideon!
Also translated as a
Man of valor.
So we could conclude that if He is in us…
He is wearing us too!
Jesus/Yeshua ‘put on’ the Spirit of His Father
at the time of His immersion and maybe
even more at His transfiguration?
And according to
Romans 13:14
we are to do the same
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
As Yeshua Messiah in us the hope of Glory
He is wearing us too.
Our outer garments are not to be those of the beast systems fashions and trends…
really why do we even care?
Why do we want to look like the world?
why do we want to be mistaken for a worldly person?
Provers 31 warns us that
Favour is deceitful, and beauty vain!
so this is vanity and worthless
we are too much caught up in what the world
and its ungodly systems dictate by
social and main stream media…

Family, don’t let’s be caught in the enemies snares and traps;
those hunters are out there and very seductive and cunning.
We are too easily swayed into a sense of false security
and instead we are to be as wise as serpents,
who are always aware if their surroundings;
and gentle as doves and to

and dress in a manner
worthy of our election and
calling in holiness, clothed with humility.

Also we are to wear our spiritual clothes in
humility and obedience.
He has bought and paid for our clothing for us,
but these clothes are even more beautiful
than the lilies of the field
and they will never wear out.

When we put Messiah on,
He is our garment of salvation.
He is our robe of righteousness
He is our garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

We are clothed in glory, honor and light apart from the armor provided in
Eph 6:11-18 that should remain on place at all times.
The only offensive weapon is
the sword of the spirit which is
His words coming out of our mouths.
Described as the armor of light.
So let us put aside the deeds of darkness
and put on
the armor of light. Rom. 13:11
Galatians 3:27, Eph. 4:24, Col. 3:10-12; Romans 8:29.
In Matt. 3:16 clearly recorded the spirit of His Father/ Yehoveh, coming upon Him so it would seem He put on Yeshua/Jesus.
In Ps. 22
There was a prophetic description of the moments on the cross which were fulfilled according to Matt 27:46 when Yeshua/Jesus quotes the Psalm
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
There was a brief time when
Our Heavenly Father left Him on the cross.
Literally His Father was not wearing Him for those moments
– no wonder He felt it.
The robe of righteousness is our wedding garment
and He clothes us with it.
He was filled with YeHoVeH
His Father wore Him!
I and the Father are one
if you have seen me you have seen the Father
I in you and you in Me
It makes one wonder whether in Revelation
if John knew who He was talking to?
I and the Father are one
We are to seek Him early before the day begins.
In Hebrew terms it is as the dusk falls in the evening!
Genesis 1:3-5

and this is where we are to be sure that we have
put on the Lord
Ps 27:8
and will wear Him throughout the night and the day.
The same way we put on clothes suitable to the task ahead, so the sooner we affirm that we have put the Lord on by communicating with Him, the better prepared we are for whatever the day brings.
Like the Eph. 6 armor –
don’t ever take it off –
and we should never remove our robe of righteousness
we must wear it at all times
together with our garment of salvation.
Without the helmet in place, to garrison guard and keep our minds on Messiah, we are not in the best position to co ordinate and direct the rest of the armor.
Our brain and mind must be in the helmet and protected by it.
This is the most likely location of our spirit and of His Ruach dwelling in us.
Which enables us to walk in the spirit and
not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

In a practical way, it’s eventually to have His mind,
the mind of Jesus/Yeshua;
to think His thoughts
by asking His spirit of Holiness
to control our thinking and
thereby renewing our minds
as our thoughts are transformed to His.
Whose mind is stayed on Him
and here is true shalom/peace
Is 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.
So what are we wearing today?

Clothed in humility, harmony and wholeness.
1 Peter 5:5-6
Being a disciple means being clothed in Messiah/Christ as Paul says in Galatians 3:26 and Romans 13:14:
Every one of you that has been baptized
has been clothed in Christ and
Let your armor be the Lord Jesus Christ.
This being clothed in Christ is much more than wearing a cloak that covers our wretchedness.
It is referring to a complete transformation
that allows us to say Gal. 2:20 with Paul:
I have been crucified with Messiah/Christ and yet I am alive; yet it is no longer I, but Christ living in me.
To be clothed with humility means you have put on
Messiah/Christ and leave Him on:
Are we a worldly fashion statement based on and reflecting satans’ kingdom; or are we the image and likeness of our Heavenly Father? And if we are like Gideon – as the Lord put him on – we too will be the mighty people of valor.
If He is in us, it is His light that shines out through us,
to a world in darkness and
we indeed will be the vessels of honor.
“chayil” (English) pronounced khah’-yil
in Hebrew is

chayil: strength, efficiency, wealth, army.
Original Word: חַיִל.
Transliteration: chayil.
Phonetic Spelling: (khah’-yil)
Definition: strength, efficiency, wealth, army.
הֶחָֽיִל
חָֽיִל
Hebrew Word for Valor

a mighty man of valor”?
גִּבּוֹרֵ֣י
What does it mean?
this phrase appears for the first time in Joshua 1:14
Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side of the Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them.
Our dictionary today states that
valor is
great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle.
The conventional Hebrew means more of a force,
especially of an army,
but can also mean a force of might, power, riches, or virtue.
Here the mighty men of valor are the armed men of the army of Israel.
Is there anything about these men in the picture letters in Chayil?
Chayil is spelled
Chet, Yood, Lamed.
חָֽיִל
Reading from right to left above:
Chet

is the
picture of the fence

and indicates a place of protection,
a sanctuary, or a place of security.
Yood

is the picture of the hand or arm
and points to a mighty deed.

Lamed

is the picture of the shepherd’s staff

and demonstrates the voice of authority or control.

It could be said that in the paleo pictograph letters of
Chayil/valor
these warriors in Israels army were…
Lamed, under strong leadership

Yood, performing a mighty work,

and
Chet, providing a place of protection, a sanctuary for their people, especially for their wives and little ones.

Does our Heavenly Father view us like the warriors of Chayil/valor?
Gideon in Judges 6:11
Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites, and the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
We already read that Gideon was hidden from his enemies in a winepress threshing wheat when YeHoVeH’s angel appears to him and calls him
a mighty man of valor.
Gideon didn’t see himself that way and in verse 15 he replies:
And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh,
and I am the least in my father’s house.

the reply in verse 16 is an indication of how our Heavenly Father sees us even when we are hiding from our enemies, feeling totally unworthy because we are afraid and anxious:
And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

In the fifth book of the Torah,
Deuteronomy 8:18,
Moses used this word differently
הֶחָֽיִל
Chayil
Moses writes:
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God:
for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth,
that he may establish his covenant
which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

The word translated
wealth here,
is
Chayil.
Here again it is to show that, the Chayil –
the force of might, power, or riches
comes from Our Heavenly Father YaHoVeH
and is provided to us for serving His purposes.
It is important we remember that.
These references all point to mighty men of valor.
We know we are neither male nor female in the spirit.
Gal.3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
But is there such a thing as
a woman of valor,
a woman of Chayil?
In Proverbs 31:10, Solomon writes

Who can find a virtuous woman?
For her price is far above rubies.

Here the word in
the virtuous woman
in Hebrew is
הֶחָֽיִל
pronounced kyell

Chayil,
the woman of valor,
the force for virtue.
Solomon says about her that she is invaluable.
Why?
Solomon gives a long list of her accomplishments and her character, and in verse 29 and 30:
Many daughters have done virtuously,
but thou excellest them all.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty vain!
but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

The word
well/ virtuously is Chayil/hayil
so we find the
outstanding woman of valor
begins with the fear of the LORD.
This kind of fear is reverence,
not terror as in being afraid.
She follows His voice of authority
and does a mighty work
to provide a sanctuary for her family!
The numbers represented by the letters in chayil
seem to show a connection to Jesus/Yeshua.
The letter Chet is also the number 8

which is a new beginning.
The letter Yood is the number 10

and stands for something ordained in Heaven.
The letter Lamed is also the number 30

and points to the blood of Messiah and His sacrifice.
So the numbers could be telling us that
Our Heavenly Father will give us a new beginning
that was ordained in Heaven
and that was made possible
through the blood sacrifice of Yeshua Ha-Mashiach.
The result being that We have
freedom from sin through His blood sacrifice
and the promise of a new beginning with Him.
There is one more place where the scripture uses the word Chayil. In Habakkuk 3:19 His Word speaks this truth:
The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
The word strength is again Chayil or valor;
so the meaning of the pictographs could apply once again as
Our Heavenly Father/ The LORD God, or Yahweh/YeHoVeH Adonai,
is our ultimate man of valor.
He is the voice of authority who by the
mighty work of
His blood sacrifice
provided an eternal place of sanctuary for us
with Him in Heaven.
When we place our trust in Him, He sees us as He saw Gideon hiding in the winepress;
the Creator of the universe the source of Faith
calling those things that were not as though they were
and describing the woman in Proverbs 31:
Chayil, mighty men and women – people of valor.

Can we be clothed with humility and strong at the same time?
Yes because
we are told in
Eph. 6:10.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the the wiles of the devil.
It’s the power of
His might
not our own.
Is God wearing us?
If not why not?
And if He is…
then as David said,
of whom shall we be afraid?
Ps. 27:1 Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
Ps. 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: all ye that hope in the Lord.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
Reading the accounts of Gideon shows us he was an excellent example of modesty in action.

When the Angel of the Lord first came to him he readily acknowledged his background and abilities in a modest manner. Then after he accepted the will and plan of the Lord, Gideon made certain he understood thoroughly what he had to do and constantly looked to the Lord for guidance for each step of the way.
Gideon became
bold and courageous
acting with shrewdness and caution
when
the Lord put him on.
Furthermore, Gideon didn’t use this opportunity to self promote or gain any personal advantage and as soon as he was able, he happily resumed his former place in life.
These are great lessons for us and when we walk with God we should always be ready to

Now we know who Jerubbaal was and
Who He Was Wearing!
When the Father is wearing us-
anyone become a mighty person of valor.
It’s time to
May His true Shalom/Peace
rest upon each one in Jesus/Yeshuas’ Name.

In Judges 6:11 a man called Joash the Abiezrite
calls his son Jerubbaal, meaning:
Let Baal Contend Against Him,
or, let Baal show increase;
The Lord Contends; Baal Contends.
JERUBBAAL jĕr’ ə bāl יְרֻבַּ֣עַל,
jer-u-ba’-al, je-rub’-a-al yerubba`al,
ירבעל
Why did he do that?
The son of Joash the Abiezrite was Gideon, the fifth judge of Israel
And the name Jerubaal was given to Gideon when he destroyed his father’s Baal altar at Ophrah.

The name
Jerubbaal
is a combination of two Hebrew words:
the first is
riyb or rub,
which means literally
to grapple
and holds the figurative meaning
to wrangle
or
to hold a controversy.
From (1) the verb ריב (rib), to contend,
ריב
This very common verb ריב (rib) means
to strive or contend
and ranges from
a mere bickering to full scale combat.
Noun ריב (rib) means
strife, dispute or plea.
Noun יריב (yarib) denotes
an opponent or adversary.
Noun מריבה (meriba) refers to
a place or agent of strife or contention.

and
The second is the proper noun
Baal, the name of the Phoenician god
that Gideon contended against.
the verb בעל – ba’al, to be lord.
The verb ba’al
בעל
means to exercise dominion over;
to own, control or be lord over.
The noun ba’al means
lord, master and even husband,
and its feminine counterpart
ba’ala
means mistress or landlady.
Jerubbaal/Gideon, had seventy sons by several wives, and he had one son, named Abimelech, by his servant girl, or his concubine. Gideon, as one of the judges in Israel, was a true servant leader, as were all of the judges of Israel, in those days.
גדעון
Gidon: a judge of Israel.
Original Word: גִּדְעוֹן.
Part of Speech:
Proper Name Masculine.
Transliteration: Gidon.
Phonetic Spelling: (ghid-ohn’)

The name Gideon comes from the Hebrew verb
גדע
gada’
meaning
to hew down or cut off:
mostly of religious regalia and holy trees.
There are no nouns formed from this verb,
suggesting that whatever was cut off,
was no longer discussed and
even cut off from speech itself.
The waw/vav-nun/noon extension
of the name Gideon
denotes a personification of the verb:
he who does what the verb means.
His name is connected with his occupation, that is,
he was a Hacker
or
One Who Hewed Down the enemy.
Now we know why computer hackers are so named!

GIDEON
גדעון
Gimmel Daleth Ayin Vav Nun
Transliteration: Gedeón. Phonetic Spelling: (ghed-eh-own’) Definition: Gideon, an Israelite. Usage:Gideon, one of the Judges of Israel.
The account in Judges tells us that when Israel was experiencing invasive attacks for 7 years by the Midianites, an angel of YeHoVeH appeared to Gideon.
When the angel of the Lord first met Gideon he was hiding out in a winepress threshing wheat – Judges 6:11.

You don’t thresh wheat in a winepress.

The threshing floor stood in the open,

the winepress was usually below ground or in a low area,
a place where someone could easily hide
which Scripture tells us Gideon was actually doing, hiding or fleeing.

The word in Hebrew is
lenis or lehanis
from the root

word nos or nus
(noos)
which means
to flee or disappear. נוּס

At that time, the Midianites were in control in Israel who had no standing army, There was no one to lead an army against the Midianites who were a well armed band of mercenaries who would suddenly appear and raid the Israelites homes killing everyone in that town or city and take what they wanted and destroying the crops on the land, It was a horrible time for the children of Israel and they lived in perpetual fear of an enemy attack that would come without warning. This scenario could be likened to the nations in the world today Many are living in constant fear of attack from both a seen and an unseen enemy such as a virus.
As is the case in most places where people have faith in the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob/Israel, some were on their knees, some interceding by weeping and petitioning in prayer. However, Gideon was not praying, his attitude needed an adjustment because, when the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and announced he was a great and mighty warrior (verse 12) his response was to ask why has God forsaken us, why are we being tormented by these Midianites, where are all the miracles, the promises of God? Many are asking that question today and God is answering, we just need to listen and pay more attention to what He is saying. First, the angel of the Lord said that God had called him to deliver Israel and that He would be with Gideon and would empower him (verse 14). Gideon’s response was not exactly full of faith! (verse 15). The second time the Angel of the Lord reassures him in verse 16.

This was still not enough for Gideon and he asks for a sign in verse 17. Gideon prepared an offering and the Angel of the Lord touched it with his staff and immediately it burst into flames.
Gideon was so impressed that he became fearful that he had just seen God Himself and might die. Due to the belief that if anyone saw God they would die or you were dead. However Gideon now had enough confidence to confront the Midianites pagan god and tear down the idol of the and offer a sacrifice to God on the same place.
Judges 6:11-24
The angel of the LORD came and sat down – under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite,

where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites

and instructed him to cut down the altar of Baal that same night

and to destroy the nearby
image of Asherah, אשרה אשירה
plural, אשרים or Asherim
a primary Canaanite goddess namely אשרות or Asheroth.

Judges 3:7, & Judges 6:25.
In the Bible, Asherah is mostly associated with
sacred trees or poles Exodus 34:13, Judges 6:25.
When the people who lived there found their shrines destroyed the next day, it didn’t take them long to find out who had done it.

They went to Joash and demanded that he surrender his son Gideon, because they wanted to execute him.

Joash responded by saying that if Baal wants his revenge, they would be foolish to ruin his pleasure by killing Gideon before their god could get him. He cleverly challenged them by saying that if Baal was truly a god, Baal would contend with Gideon, and if he were not, then Gideon would contend with Baal!
This is why Joash named his son Jerubbaal.

The people were not worshipping the one true God and their false gods and idols had to be removed before they could have victory over their enemies.
This is true for believers in Yeshua today we are to tear down any altars we have made to anything or anyone else in our lives. Putting our Heavenly father first place in everything we do is essential in walking a victorious life by His spirit.
After that Gideon goes after the Midianites and the other members of the Eastern Coalition. 32,000 men from Israel joined up for the battle, after God instructs Gideon to separate out the chosen ones only 300 remain.

He gives the 300 each a trumpet, a pitcher and a torch and at midnight they attack because of their unusual approach it caused the Midianites to stampede. As they fled, Gideon summoned the entire Israeli army and they pursued them, killing their leaders and 120,000 swordsmen.

Judges 7:15, 20: The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword of the LORD and of Gideon!”
After Gideon’s victory over Midian, Israel remains undisturbed for 40 years. When Gideon dies, his son Abimelech takes the office of Judge of Israel.
Gideon had 72 sons, namely Abimelech, the seventy brothers he killed, and Jotham who got away.
Paul mentions Gideon in his letter to the Hebrews 11:32
calling him a hero of the faith spelled Γεδεων, Gedeon
There is much more to the story of Gideon but for the purpose of this post there are 2 points one is in 6:34 where

He was obedient.

so that the world could see this deliverance
was from God and God alone.

echil gbur

translated as
mighty man of valor
If as the scripture says
He
meaning God
put on Gideon
then it would seem clear that His Ruach haKodesh
filled Gideons spirit;
both his inner man as well as his physical body.
Reading it one more time
God PUT ON and wrapped Himself in Gideon!
And as the meanings above say,
like He was putting on a garment of clothing
which really seems like
God was wearing Gideon!
Hebrew for PUT ON…

Our bodies cannot function without us inside them so as we are born again by His spirit the scripture tells us Yeshua said,
I and My Father will come to live abide IN you!

If He is inside us then He is wearing us too!
With this thought a inexplicable spiritual reality and His ways not being our ways shouldn’t we then be walking in all manner of holiness.
Christ in us the hope of glory! So when we think are we wearing God as His representative
or is it that like Gideon,
He is wearing us.
This gives another aspect of the things Yeshua said about not being concerned or anxious about what we shall wear, our physique, what we look like or following the fashion.

Fashion is nothing more than the worlds attempt at beautifying the flesh.
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Romans 7:18
and this is a liberating message. Gender, skin tone, shape size weak strong, its all physical and temporary. We will not be taking these bodies with us.
The new ones we are promised may not be exactly as we are now for even Mary did not recognize Messiah in His glorified form outside the tomb until He called her by name (Jn 20:14-16).

This flesh will die, it’s not acceptable in any form to the Father; flesh is full of decay as a result of sin. We must look beyond what our senses say and walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. Yes be a good steward of your mode of transportation and means to fulfill the Lords will for our lives. Cleanliness is indeed next to godliness and we need to feed it healthy food just as we feed our spirits on His life giving word.
We are filled with His Ruach which is joined to our own.
YaHoVeH PUT ON Gideon.
He had prophetically called him mighty man
and then like a garment He put Gideon on!

Al Tirah – Fear Not!

We are living in uncertain times in the world and this uncertainty will naturally cause some to experience anxiety and fear
yet,
we know that God’s Word tells us
to fear not.
Fear not little children for it is your fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom and that kingdom is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 7:14
This is His will for us.
Righteousness – Yashar – ישר

Peace – Shalom – שָׁלוֹם

and Joy – Sim•cha – שִׂמְחָה

Letters for JOY – sameach – mem – chet – hey.

The Hebrew words tsadiyq, translated as righteous,
and ישר (yashar, Strong’s #3477),
translated as upright,
are paralleled many times in the Bible; indicating that in the Hebrew mind, they were similar in meaning.
Upright is another abstract word but it is used in a ‘concrete manner’, such as in Jeremiah 31:9, where it means:
straight – as in a straight path.
(The straight path/WAY of Jesus/Yeshua).
As a noun:
יוֹשֶׁר. integrity, honesty, equity, probity, straightness.
Hebrew words for righteousness:
Another noun:
tsadiyq,
צֶדֶק.
justice, Jupiter, right, justness, rightness.
PEACE – Shalom – שָׁלוֹם

and JOY – Simchah – שִׂמְחָה

joy, gladness, mirth, exceedingly, gladness, joyfulness, mirth, pleasure, rejoicing
From sameach;
Strong’s Hebrew: 7321. ר֫וּעַ (rua) — to raise a shout … …cry aloud (1), crying (1), jubilant

As far as fear is concerned, worries, and anxious thoughts will try to encircle us, seeking entrance.
On so many occasions Jesus/Yeshua said

Fear is such a basic human emotion that many constantly live in the grip of fear, worry and anxiety.
God told us to fear not because He knew that we would all wrestle with fear of one sort or another, sooner or later.
Instead of fear, we are to let trust and thankfulness stand guard at the doorways to our hearts; turning back fear before it can gain a foothold.
When our focus is firmly on the Lord, His love casts out all fear and His shalom/peace, which He gives to us, fills our hearts and minds; so there is no room for anything else.

Fear/yare is displaced by love/ahava and peace/shalom.
The same way that light displaces darkness.

If we are anxious, then the scripture reminds us that His love is not yet perfected in us; and as fear is the opposite of faith, we are not moving, walking and thinking by faith; and without that faith we cannot please God.
The WAY to build our faith is to read and listen to His Word…

Al tirah – Fear Not or Be Not Afraid

Books about fear are helpful but if we want to change and conquer fear once and for all, we have to live continually, which means we are to abide in His Word. As Jesus/Yeshua is the Living Word, we are to abide/live our lives in and through Him.
NOTHING compares to the living word.

There are two ways to look at fear; it can that of the feeling of being afraid or terrified of something, and it can also be termed;
the fear of the Lord
where we are to have a reverential respect of Who He is, and to know the reverential fear, the awe that His presence inspires.

Some definitions of awe:
Awe is an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, veneration, and wonder produced and inspired by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like: in awe of God;

Awe is the feeling we get in the presence of something vast that challenges our understanding. When people say something is awesome, they are really saying it is causing or inducing fearful awe; inspiring an overwhelming feeling of reverence, reverential fear, sadly it has become a byword and we have lost its efficacy.

You may have even heard that the words fear not are in Scripture as many as 365 times. While unable to find those exact two words 365 times in Scripture, He did give that direct command over 100 times; God’s Word addresses our fears again and again.
The subject of fear and anxiety is mentioned in the Bible over 365 times and that doesn’t even include all the many fear God (reverence) verses. Adding all the relevant scriptures may indeed give us a daily mannabite to take us through a year without fear!

Link to longer list at the end:
Fear is spoken of over 500 times in the KJV. Furthermore, in addition to the Fear nots, many times the Bible teaches us to Fear God, which really as already mentioned, means reverence God alone and do not fear anyone or anything else.
What we think of as fear of the Lord,
this type of fear is good and should be encouraged.

As mentioned previously fear of the Lord is a fear of, as in awe, reverence or respect. This type of fear will result in blessings and will greatly benefit us in life; unlike the spirit of fear that we may experience, which is the type of fear that we must look to God for His help to overcome.
On the other hand, there is also a spirit of fear, this type of fear should be avoided.
A spirit of fear will hinder our walk with the Lord.

We find this in 2 Timothy 1:7, which says,
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Some versions use the words timidity or fawning fear.

We can overcome fear by looking to God and receiving His Love to fill our hearts and minds and overcome the thoughts that engender fear. Again, scripture tells us that perfect love casts out fear.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another… There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:11, 18).

The key is to allow the love of God to rule and reign in our hearts and let His Word/debar, dwell in us richly.
Satan does not want us to embrace the love of God, instead he wants us to remain alone in our fears. He will use this to cause us to doubt God.
Many times we allow our worldly fears to get in the way of our relationship with God. The good news is that we do not have to remain in our fears. God’s Word tells us to call out to Him in our times of fear.
Psalm 34:4 says, “I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” (ESV)
This means we must first take our fears to God in prayer. At first, this can often be difficult to do but over time once we make this a good new habit, we will be willing to keep going, as we experience Our Fathers Holy Spirit/Ruach, calming our anxieties and fears with the breath of His Ruach and the Oil of Joy.

It has been said that all fear is rooted in fear of death, and as we are now in the kingdom of His dear Son the scripture/His Word tells us that death has no power over us – then fear has no power over us either.
When we fully realize we have gone
from death to life in Christ Jesus/Yeshua HaMashiach;
the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, (Romans 8:2),
has made us free from the law and its’ consequences of sin the wages/result of which is death.
It is, the Truth shall make you free, not set you free. John 8:32
Once we know the truth, the bonds and the thoughts of others no longer matter or have any power over us. We are made free and their hold no longer applies, this includes the bonds and chains of satans devices.
This is the truth that makes us free.
And might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. – American Standard Version (1901) And let those who all their lives were in chains because of their fear of death, go free. Hebrews 2:15

It is a proven fact that our body gives off a physical response when our brain believes or perceives a threatening situation. An increase in adrenaline occurs, making the brain choose to either fight the situation or flight/flee from it.
Our body reacts and it is said that animals can not only sense fear in and from us, but that fear has a distinct odour and they can smell the fear we are feeling.
Anytime we feel emotional, mental, or physical pain or other trauma, this can cause us to be fearful. Yet, even in those moments, God calls us to trust in Him by the spirit, rather than in what we can see in the physical realm. We must focus on Him and believe in the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

The moments when we cannot see or feel God are prime times to experience fear, yet God promises we can overcome fear.
In a biblical sense, fear is an opportunity to choose faith.
When God asks you to put your trust in Him and believe He will do things in our best interest, our human nature resists that, choosing instead to take a position independent from God. We naturally tend to try to control outcomes, and this can be a hindrance and keep us apart from God.
Fear is the enemy of God because God gives peace/shalom. He promises it to those who trust in Him wholeheartedly, even in the midst of inevitable fear.

As already noted the Bible teaches us to Fear God, which really means reverence God alone and do not fear anyone or anything else.
yirah: a fear
yir-aw’
3374
יִרְאָה

Of the 10 Hebrew nouns and 8 verbs that are regularly translated fear, to fear, to be afraid, and those similar, only one of each is commonly used in the Old Testament and they both come from the root yr.
The noun being yira [ h’a.rIy] or mora [ a’r/m] and the verb yare [ aer”y ]).
The English word fear is used to translate several Hebrew and Greek words. In the Old Testament, the most common word used to express fear is yir’ ah , which means fear/terror ( Isaiah 7:25 ; Jonah 1:10,16 ).

The word most often translated in the Old Testament as fear is the Hebrew word (transliterated as yirah) which can possibly mean fear, but also means awe, reverence, respect and devotion. A closely related Hebrew word is (transliterated as yare) which can mean fearful, but also means to stand in awe, reverence or honor.
Similarly, the King James translators also chose to translate the Hebrew (transliterated as mowra) as fear, although it also means reverence, object of reverence, or an awe inspiring spectacle or deed. Another word that the King James translators chose to call fear is the Hebrew (transliterated as guwr) which can mean fear, but which also means to stir up, sojourn, dwell with, remain, dwell in or to stand in awe.
Fortunately, some of the newer bible translations are slowly beginning to correct this situation and are beginning to use fitting terms such as honor and reverence to express our relationship with God. What a magnificent difference it is to change from an attitude of fear of a dreadful, vengeful God into the beautiful, loving attitude of awe, reverence, respect and devotion towards a kind, loving God.

The Fear (yirah) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Prov 9:10
Here fear is the word YaRATh (sometimes written with a letter Hey).

The root meaning of the word yara is to flow
and is related to words meaning:
rain or stream – as a flowing of water.
In Hebrew thought, fear can be what is felt when in danger;
or
what is felt when in the presence of an awesome sight or person of great authority.

The word fear in the this verse is the noun יראה yirah [H:3374], derived from the verb yarah.
The common understanding of this verse is if one is afraid of or in great awe of Yahweh, he will have wisdom, however, this is not consistent with its use in the Hebrew language.
The Hebrew for fear of the LORD (as found in the verse above) is written with two nouns,
יהוה יראת yirat Yahweh
(Yirat is a feminine noun ending with the letter ה, such as yirah, it is used in the construct state, the ה is converted to a ת, in this case it becomes yirat.)
When a noun precedes another noun, the first noun is in the construct state, meaning it is connected to the second noun-two words together forming one concept. In the phrase is an example of a construct noun:
אלהים מלכות malkut elohiym (kingdom of God).”
Here the first noun, kingdom, ‘belongs’ to the second noun, God.

The YaRATh /fear of the Lord/ YaHUaH is the beginning of wisdom.

Fear is an abstract concept, but the Hebrew words translated as fear have a more concrete definition behind them.
The first root is פחד pahhad [H:6342].
Fear (pahhad – noun/object) came upon me, and trembling, and caused all my bones to shake (pahhad – verb/action). Job 4:14
In this verse, the word fear is the noun פחד pahhad [H:6343] meaning shaking, while the word shake is the verb פחד pahhad [H:6342]meaning to shake.
The second Hebrew root is ירא yara [H:3372].
In the following verse, we read that this verb means fear in the sense of what we would consider fear.
So when the Lord says once more I will shake the earth, there is fear attached to that event.
The second Hebrew root is ירא yara [H:3372].
In the following verse, this verb means fear in the sense of what we would consider fear.
And he said, I heard your voice in the garden and I feared (yarah) because I was naked and I hid myself. Genesis 3:10
In the next verse, the same Hebrew word is used in a more positive context.
You will revere (yarah)Yahweh your Elohiym and you will serve him and in his name you will swear. Deuteronomy 6:13
From these two passages this Hebrew word would appear to have 2 different meanings, fear and reverence.
In translation with many Hebrew words this is often the case, but often caused by a lack of understanding of the Hebrew vocabulary seen from a non Hebraic perspective.
This is explained by realizing that each Hebrew word has only one meaning – but can have different applications.
The meaning of yara
in the literal concrete sense
is a flowing of the gut,
which can be applied to fear or reverence.
This feeling is the meaning of this word felt when an individual is so scared or was in the presence of something so incredible that it could be felt in the gut. There is also that similar feeling of having butterflies in the tummy when one is nervous.
Because the Hebrew people are often considered to be very emotional, it follows that in many cases their words are describing a feeling, rather than an action.
Why do we put the emphasis of the word fear as being our fear and not Yahweh’s/God’s in the phrase fear of Yahweh?
We know that it is not possible for God to have fear, however as previously mentioned, the Hebrew verb yara literally means to flow out of the gut.
So, then, the question has to be asked:
What flows out of the gut of God/Yahweh?

2 other scriptures, may illuminate what the fear of Yahweh could be.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night Psalm 1:2 (KJV)
The Hebrew for the law of the LORD is:
יהוה תורת torat Yahweh.
The definition the word
תורה torah [H:8451]
as teachings.
Torat is the form of the feminine noun torah.
This word is derived from the verb ירה yarah [H:3384] meaning:
to throw
(in the sense of flowing)
and is closely related to the verb yara.
They related in the sense both are from the same root, יר yar, and they are also related by their meaning.
In Judges 3:10 is the 2nd scripture.
And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him… (RSV)
In the words יהוה רוח ru’ahh Yahweh
the word ru’ahh, meaning wind
We are familiar with this as:
Ruahh/ruach HaKodesh Spirit/ Holy Spirit;
another type of flowing and,
it can also mean an individuals character.

So, what is it that flows out of the gut of God/Yahweh?
His teachings and His character/traits, showing us Who He Is.
Look at Proverbs 9:10 again from a Hebrew perspective.
The flowings (Yirah – the teachings (torah)
and character (ru’ahh) of Yahweh
is the beginning of wisdom
(Hhakhmah – the ability to distinguish between good and bad.):
and an intimate relationship with the special one is understanding.

Yeshua/Jesus Himself said:
Out of your belly/gut will flow rivers of living water…
Who and what is the living water?
Yeshua/Jesus is the source of living water
the river of life
and
water is the symbol of the torah/teaching instructions
for living a life before the Lord as in
following Yeshua/Jesus
and
when we do then John 7:38 will be fulfilled in us.
He that believes on me, as the scripture has said,
out of his belly shall flow
rivers of living water.

While preparing this post an interesting point to note is that the word yara/yare is in the word yarah/yareh/Yireh which is Hebrew for – will provide – coming from Yahuah Yarah/Yireh. Genesis 22:11-18.

Abraham trusted in God as he offered his son and did not fear; then God stepped in to provide the ram instead.
So when the presence of God manifested
He changed the situation
from death to life
and
from any fear to faith
with His provision.
The difference in the 2 words is the letter H Hei/Hey and we associate with breath when we pronounce the letter!
When the breath (Hei/Hey) of God is added to the word for fear (yara/yare), is it telling us:
Hey look, God’s breath of life/His presence, changes fear to faith by His provision! Yareh?
We may be more familiar with it written as Jehovah Jireh.

So when fear tries to overwhelm us ….
breathe deeply
and think on the point that we are one breath of Gods’ life away from His provision of faith to sustain us –
hen breathe out that faith life… Hhhhhey….
and
dispel that fear in Jesus/Yeshuas name!
This is the WAY to be an overcomer trusting completely in Him and not be one of those of whom Jesus/Yeshua said in Luke 21:26
Men‘s hearts failing them for fear, and for apprehension of those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

But rather verse 36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Our confidence and trust is in Him…

One effective way to stop fear in its tracks is …..to stop…
Be Still and know that I AM God.

Be still means to let go…
let go of the fear
don’t hold onto it ..
How??
by stopping and make a determined effort to focus on Him
and remember the place of the letting down of wings.
